I took the last 2 days off from my 50/50 Workout Drill for two reasons. The first, and most important reason, is that Monday I play table tennis for 3 hours and Tuesday I take horseback riding lessons. The second, and only a slightly less important reason, is my golf glove tore on Sunday night while I was swinging away! I do not recommend preforming the 50/50 workout if you doubt your grip in the least bit.

I have to be honest and tell you my glove tearing was a very convenient coincidence however, as my ability to continue my 50/50 drill after 3 hours of ping pong, let alone after being on a horse, is next to nil! Do not be fooled, however, to think either does not add to my goal get my swing in shape for my fitting on the 28th. The two activities engage both my leg and core muscles, and also challenge my balance. That being said I think the subject of my next post will be the various stretches and warm up techniques I use prior to my work out.

I also stocked up on the new FootJoy SPIDR2 Glove for the upcoming season, one of which I’ll be using tonight for my 50/50 drill. So I will be sure to let you know how it performs.
